هتل سه ستاره ثامن مشهد دارای دو ساختمان جدید و قدیم است که ساختمان قدیم یا بلوک یک در سال ۱۳۸۸ افتتاح شده و ساختمان قدیم یا بلوک دو در سال ۱۳۷۴ افتتاح گردیده و در سال ۱۳۹۳ بازسازی شده است. هتل ثامن وابسته به گروه هتل هاي كوثر بوده و علاوه بر اتاق، دارای آپارتمان رویال (ویلا) با کلیه امکانات رفاهی است.
هتل ثامن در ابتدای جاده طرقبه در منطقه ای سرسبز و زیبا و نزدیک به کوهستان پارک شادی در نزدیکی باغ وحش وکیل آباد واقع شده است. حدود ده دقیقه پپاده روی تا پارک دهکده آبی فاصله دارد که میتوانید از این مکان تفریحی نیز لذت ببرید. همچنین با حدود بیست دقیقه پیاده روی به نمایشگاه بین المللی مشهد خواهید رسید. در ضمن در نزدیکی هتل ثامن بیمارستان و ایستگاه مترو نیز موجود است. فاصله این هتل تا حرم و آرامگاه نادرشاه افشار در حدود بیست دقیقه سواری میباشد.
